About
I am an engineering student turned artist, turned user interface and user experience consultant.
I design and build Rich Internet Applications for start-ups, Fortune 500 Companies and government agencies in and around Washington, DC.
I believe the world is made better through good design and good design can only be achieved by structuring the creative process so that good decisions are made.
I currently own and operate CloverLeaf Consulting, LLC, a Reston, Virginia based user experience consulting firm.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washigton, DC
I'm currently studying for my International Executive MBA from Georgetown's McDonough School of Business.
On a technical note, I'm a big fan of the open source content management framework Drupal and the Rich Internet Application framework Extjs.
This site was built using Drupal 5.1 and my personal adaptation of the Zen Theme.
The CCK and Views modules do most of the heavy lifting. If you are interested in either the theme or a zipped up bare bones version of this site to power your own portfolio based website, let me know and I'll gladly send you a copy to get you started.
Cheers,
Patrick Sheridan
