Another one of my early mural projects.
McCormick & Schmick's wanted to use the 100' x 20' construction wall running the entire span of their K street location as advertising for the restaurant while under construction.
I created a design inspired by the work of Wylan and accented the fish in silver paint so they would catch the light from car headlights at night.
Pat Gaffney, the GM of the restaurant and all around good guy, let me sit in on two of the test nights for the wait staff. Now that's exactly what every starving art student needs!
As a humorous aside, some years later I saw the mural again, chopped up and used to board up an abandon gas stations on south route 1 in Alexandria, Virginia. I wish I had my camera for that one.
